Hiii Girliess, welcome back to my blooogg !!!
In today’s post I’m going to write about 8th grade, my tips for future 8th graders etc…
It may seem like it’s harder or scarier than the past grades, but trust me it’s really not that special, if you want to know what to expect read this postt and you’ll be totally prepared !
If you have any questions or suggestions for my next blog feel free to write them in the commentsss !! If you like my bloggss, you might be interested in checking out my youtube and pinterest too, the links are in the upper right corner, just click on the icons and you’ll be there 🙂
Without further ado, let’s beginn !

- Keep your grades UP! As middle school is coming towards the end, you will probably feel really tired and unmotivated to study, but at the same time you don’t want to ruin your grades that you’ve been working on for the past 7 years so just remember that you only have one more year in the middle school, and that the next you’re starting highschool, something new and excitinggg !! If you don’t know how exactly to study effectively, you haven’t learned it before, I have a post about itt, you can find it on my page in the category “School Advice”, where this one is going to be in to !
- Stay in a good relationship with your teachers! I have never really had a bad relationship with any of my teachers (atleast not because of my behavior), but if some of your teachers doesn’t like you, and they start using that as an excuse to give you a bad grade you have to do something, Now, I don’t know why your teacher doesn’t like you, is it because you are disturbing their class, or they have something personal against you, and those two are TOTALLY different cases. If a teacher doesn’t have any reason to dislike you, meaning: you don’t disturb them or others during their teaching, and you are just doing your job, you can’t really do much to get on that teacher’s good side. My advice for you in that case is to just try and stay as quiet as possible in their class, raise your hand if you know the answers and that’s it. Like that you are doing everything you can, and if, for some reason, that teacher still doesn’t like you, they probably have a problem with themselves ! But if your teachers don’t like you because of something that you did aka. talk in class, don’t listen, keep failing, then you should try to change their opinion about you. Change those bad habits for a couple of reasons but most important are: a) you’re starting highschool soon, and you don’t want to leave bad 1st impresion and b) you don’t want to be remembered as a bad kid by your previous teachers.
- Pick your interests! 8th grade is a great time to start looking into different clubs, extracurriculars, sports etc. Since you are getting closer to college, you’ll have enough time to prepare an impressive application, and you’ll have all 4 years of highschool to perfect whatever you are interested in doing ! For me, I decided that I’m going to focus on subjects like physics, maths and informatics in highschool because I’m interested into studying them in the future. For clubs I would like to join a debate club, since I find debate really fun and cool, you can express your opinions and defend them in front of the others, and at the same time it is challenging me to step out of my comfort zonee ! I would like to join drama club too as I was a part of it in middle school, and I love watching movies and tv seriesss.
- Friendships! When it comes to friendships in middle school, I don’t know if I had a good or a bad experience. I would probably say mid. I’m still friends with some people from my middle school, but at the same time, I’m not friends with most of them. Why? Well, I feel like I have found myself in a place where I don’t relate and agree with most people my age that I have met ’till now. Don’t get me wrong, I can talk to them, and hang out, but at times I feel like I am more mature than them. I have met a few of my friends that feel the same way, and it’s really fun to find someone that relates to you in that way. So if you think that you are in a simular situation, don’t worry ! You’ll definitely meet more people soon that r in the same situation ! So my tip for you when it comes to middle school friendships is to just don’t stress over it, try to prevent any fights and just enjoy your last year with your class !
- Plan your day! This is REALLY important !!! Learn how to plan your day and your timee, I have a problem with this, I’m not organised enough n that’s why sometimes I feel like I don’t have time for anything and end up cramping last minute for my upcoming examm ! Good planning means a lot especially when it comes to fitting in all the afterschool activities with your homework ! Don’t get stressed during the exam season, and please plan your timee, I’ll try to too ’cause I know how stressed I can get during that time~~ Plan what time you’ll wake up each day, what time period are you going to use for studying, what for training, what for eating… And an advice that I’ll give you too is to study EVERY SINGLE DAY. The weekends too !! That way you’ll have time for everything, won’t stress too much, and won’t burn out easily !

Those are all the general tips that I have for uu, now I would like to tell you a bit about my experience from it ! So first of all, I wasn’t that scared for the 8th grade since I already knew all the teachers and classmates but, there were still some things that were new for me. I had prom for the first time at the end of the 8th grade and that was REALLY exciting for mee and my friends, so I spent a lot of time preparing for it too, but I had a final exam at the end of the 8th grade as well, which wasn’t that fun. The results of that final exam would determine which highschool we can go to. The better that you do the test, the better your next school will be. I don’t know if it’s like that for all schools around the world, but I don’t think that it iss. So, because I did good on that final exam, I could choose which highschool I’d like to go tooo and I’m very satisfied with my choice for now, and I hope that I’ll like it !!
Soo my biggest advice for you is to just don’t stress over grades and schoolwork ’cause it’s not worth it and try to enjoy it as much as possible. It’s not that serious and not that deep. Just have fun, hang out with your friends and listen to my tips, hahahahahah !
I hope that this blog will help you relax and start the new school year fresh with no stress and anxiety !
