Hello Everyone, and welcome back to another blog !!!
I hope that you’re having a great day, and if you are not I hope that this blog will make it at least a bit BETTER! In my last blog I talked about my goals and wishes for 2026. and one of them was keeping straight A’s.
Now that I already have them, I have to keep ’em, so in this blog I’m going to tell you all my tips and tricks on how to become a straight A student, beauty and brains girlie !
Since we already have a goal that we want a accomplish, it’s time to start working on it. So here is a guide on how you are going to get and keep good grades.
Sometimes I have a hard time getting myself to START studying because I am not motivated at the moment and I’m just too lazy to begin, so that’s something that we have to work on. You are not going to be motivated EVERY single day, and that’s totally normal. That means that you will have to build discipline to stay on track.

How are we gonna do that?
Well, we should start easy, at first we can study an hour everyday, even when we don’t have a lot, or maybe we are just doing some practice questions, that will help us build a habit of doing it everyday, so that later we can just add more time on to it. This way we can trick our brain that it’s just a few minutes, and that will instantly make it easier. And if we are studying EVERYday for a little bit, we will never have too much work to do in one day, and that means we’ll be much less stressed.
Also, whenever you are studying make yourself a drink of choice or a sweet treat so that it’s a bit more fun, and so that you are looking forward to that time of a day. This is something that I do, and it makes studying instantly easier.
Now, if you don’t know how to study, where to begin, or how to memorise easier, here are my ways of studying:

- Feynman technique: I use this one the most, basically after you read a paragraph in your book, try and explain it to someone, it doesn’t have to be a person, I just imagine I have a classroom full of students that I explain it to, and do it in your own words so that you understand it easier and better;
- Blurting method: It’s similar to the last one, but you don’t explain it to someone, you write it down. Everything that you remember from the read page, you write it in your notebook or computer. Like this you will have good notes so that you can reread them before a test and you can see all the things that you forgot, and focus more on them;
- Traffic light method: In this one you need three highlighters, yellow, red and green. You will use green highlighter to highlight all the things that you know from your lecture, yellow one for all the things that aren’t totally unknown for you, but you aren’t super familiar with them, and red one for parts that you don’t know at all;
- This last one doesn’t really have a name, but I just ask my parents or sister to ask me questions from the lectures after I learned them so that I know what I should reread and how much I know.
These are techniques that I use, and they are really helpful, I learn quickly and effectively with them. If you are still having hard time studying, try changing enviroment that you are studying in. You can go to a coffee place and study there, or check the libraries close to you, you can focus there well since it’s really quiet. Also you can go with a friend so that you can hype eachother up.
Some mistakes that you should avoid are studying RIGHT before the test. Even though you still have time to finish everything in time, you will be under a lot of stress, which is really bad for your health, both mental and physical. Then, you shouldn’t just read a lecture and finish with studying, because we memorize much easier when testing our knowlegde than we do when just reading a certain lecture. And remember, always keep your phone away from you while studying so that you’re focused only on the lecture that you are learning without distractions.
It’s also really important that you take breaks between your studying sessions, so that your brain can rest before continuing. When you’re taking breaks, it would be the best if you could take a small walk outside, breath some fresh air, and then go back to studying, You can listen to some music too, or eat a little snack, but don’t go on your phone, as it is tiring your brain even more.

Obviously, it’s okay to skip studying sometimes, nobody is perfect, and it’s completely normal to just feel too tired some days, and it’s really important to let yourself rest and take a needed break, so that you can continue tomorrow. I am not always disciplined, and I study the last minute sometimes too, but I am trying to work on that and get better at it.
I hope that this blog helped you guys learn how to study better and more efficient!!
